Our Staff Members
The staff at First Presbyterian Church has spent many years commited to Christian service. Our staff enjoys serving our community, whether in sharing our faith or just lending a helping hand. Here are a few of First Presbyterian Church's staff members, starting with Clint Regen:

Clint Regen (Pastor) 
Clint arrived as pastor in August 2006 coming to us from Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas. He received his masters degree from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and his undergraduate degree from LSU. He is married to Catherine and has two daughters; Renee, who is 22 years old, and Caroline, who is 2 years old; and a son, Joel Henry, who was born in Novmeber 2008.

Matt Turner (Director of Youth)
Matt Turner is our new full-time Youth Director. Matt is from Prattville, Alabama and has served in various ministries. In high school, he served as president of the Fellowship of Chistian Students and at the University of Mobile he was asked to be the campus Discipleship Coordinator. He has served as an intern in other ministries and has been on several mission trips, including a trip to Zambia. He formerly served as full-time youth interim at Ingalls Avenue Baptist Church. Matt aspires to be a church planter in years to come. Matt and Michelle were married in May 2010. You can reach Matt on his email.

Ric Sawyer (Director of Music)
Ric, a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs, joined our staff in 2010. A graduate of Ocean Springs High School and the University of South Alabama, Ric attended the Eastman School of Music from 1999-2002. A gifted tenor, Ric has sung with the Southern Opera, the Eastman Opera Theatre, the Mississippi Opera, the South Alabama Opera, and the Mississippi Symphony. Having previously worked as a Scout Ranger & ski instructor, Ric is currently choral director at Ocean Springs High School. Ric can be reached at 326-3835.

Sandi Wright (Director of Children's Ministries)
Sandi is married to Marvin and has two children. She received her bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University and her masters degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has taught elementary school for 13 years and served as interim director of this church's daycare center.

Jan Hardy (Organist)
Mrs. Jan Hardy has the longest tenure on the staff having served as organist and pianist since 1996. Jan received her Bachelors degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and has completed course work toward her Masters degree. Jan has previously served as organist and/or pianist in numerous Mississippi churches. She and Robert Hardy were married on April 25, 2010.

Marjorie Searcy (Contemporary Worship Team Leader)
Mrs.Marjorie Searcy joined our staff as Contemporary Worship Team Leader in December 2008. Marjorie, who has a degree in music from Belmont College is a singer, songwriter, & vocal coach. She frequently travels to lead women's retreats and worship workshops. She and George have been married for 21 years and are the parents of Mallory, Jordy, and Liam.
