First Presbyterian Church

First Prebyterian Church delights in hosting weddings and is eager to make your wedding one that will be remembered with deep joy. We believe that God created, ordered, and blessed the covenant of marriage. We rejoice in Christian marriage, which is given by God, blessed by Jesus Christ, and sustained by the Holy Spirit. We believe marriage is a holy mystery in which a man and a woman are joined together, and become one, just as Christ is one with the church. Wedding services are an act of worship.

We believe each part of the service - the planning and the day itself, the music, and all parts of the service are important.

If you are interested in a wedding at this church, you will need to pick up Wedding Guidelines available at the church office. You will be asked to strictly follow the procedures and policies found in this booklet. Any deviations from these guidelines must be approved by the pastor and/or the Session.
